Planning Application for another large Solar Farm

An application has been submitted to North Herts District Council for the installation of a large-scale solar farm on land south of the A507 near Cumberlow Green. This proposal lies adjacent to a separate planning application submitted to East Herts District Council for a solar farm between Cromer and Cottered.

Although these developments are outside Walkern Parish, local parishioners may wish to comment on the proposals.

Walkern Parish Council has formally responded to the application raising concerns about the effect these applications will have on the local landscape.
