Walkern Sports & Community Centre (WSCC)
Set on the edge of the beautiful and historic village of Walkern which has links going back to the Magna Carta and beyond, the Centre facilities include three football pitches, a cricket square, fitness trail and the Jubilee Pavilion.
The Jubilee Pavilion at Walkern Sports and Community Centre houses a licensed bar and provides a fantastic venue for your party celebrations whatever the occasion.
The Pavilion was built in 1977 by the villagers of Walkern on land donated to the village by the Wright family of the once famouse Wright’s Brewery, on the proviso that it should be used for sporting and recreational purposes for the residents of Walkern. It has since been held on behalf of the people by the Walkern Parish Council and is currently run by the Walkern Sports and Community Centre Club Committee.
